REGISTERED VALUATION SERVICE FREE APPRAISALS
FREE INFORMATION MEMORANDUM
Radar Results (Radar) is a specialist consulting firm offering advice and services to financial planners. Radar provides a professional valuation service using a Registered Valuer, who sits on the panels of several major banks. Adviser feedback to Radar indicates fees of between $5,000 and $7,000 are being charged to value a planner’s business. One firm was actually quoted a minimum fee of $15,000 and as the value of the firm being valued increases, so does this fee.
For practices with up to $1 million in total annual revenue the valuation fee is $3,950 plus GST, and for practices with total annual revenue of over $1 million, the fee is $5,950 plus GST. Radar will provide a report prepared by a registered valuer for any financial planning business, pure insurance/risk business, mortgage business, accounting practice or any combination thereof.
Radar’s valuation service provides a substantial saving; at least 40% when compared to current industry prices. Free Appraisal Service
Radar also provides a Free Appraisal service to practices wishing to sell. Radar has prepared over 450 appraisals since 2006, providing many divorcees, partner buyouts and genuine sellers with a written opinion. These appraisals have been accurate and gratefully received. When preparing an appraisal, Radar will take into account total revenue, recurring revenue and EBIT. It also looks at the location of the business, the age of its clients, types of platforms used, fee levels, and the number of clients compared to FUM. Free Information Memorandum
Radar also provides a free Information Memorandum (IM) preparation service for sellers. Accountants and brokers will often charge up to $4,000 for an IM to be prepared.
